The successful candidate will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative menu items, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and collaborating with our team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications

• Natural born Filipino Citizen
• 18-49 years of age (or it depends to employer’s requirements.)
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a bakery, cafe, or restaurant environment.
• Strong culinary skills and creativity, with a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
• Certificate or qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with bakery management, ensuring variety, creativity, and seasonality in menu offerings.
• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of ingredients and equipment.
• Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into menu development and food preparation.
• Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers to address any inquiries or special requests.
