Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Teaching certification or qualification in computer studies or a related subject area.
• Previous experience teaching computer studies or computer science at the secondary level is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Passion for technology education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging computer studies lessons that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Teach students fundamental computer science concepts, programming languages, and digital literacy skills.
• Integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technology tools to enhance student learning experiences.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through hands-on activities and projects.
• Provide timely feedback on student progress and assess student performance using a variety of assessment methods.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessment strategies, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in technology education and incorporate relevant advancements into teaching practices.
