Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for construction and project management? Utech Co Ltd is seeking a talented Construction Engineer to join our team in Japan. As a Construction Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Japanese and English languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to establish project goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential issues and propose solutions to optimize construction processes and outcomes.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders, identifying any delays or deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure the successful execution of projects.
