We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Australia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
• Certification or formal training in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in diesel engine repair.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to relocate to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, on diesel engines and related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes, in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections and safety checks to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and hours worked.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and optimize workflow.
