Qualifications

• Certificate in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a motor mechanic or automotive technician in a workshop environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic automotive systems and components.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in performing mechanical tasks and following repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tire rotations, to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment, and perform repairs and adjustments as needed to restore vehicle performance.
• Inspect, repair, and replace engine components, such as belts, hoses, spark plugs, and gaskets, to maintain engine efficiency and reliability.
• Inspect, repair, and replace brake pads, rotors, calipers, and suspension components to ensure safe and reliable braking and handling.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, alternators, and starter motors, to address electrical issues and ensure vehicle functionality.
