Qualifications

• Proven experience as a painting tradesperson or similar role, preferably in the construction or fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and application methods.
• Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and surface preparation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired finishes and specifications.
• Ensure proper mixing and application of paint materials to achieve uniform coverage and adhesion.
• Perform inspections to identify defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize health risks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate painting schedules and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting equipment and work areas.
