We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our team at Sekolah Victory Plus. This position is approved by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and is specifically open to Filipino workers who are looking to work in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to secondary school students, ensuring they achieve their academic potential and develop a love for the subject.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an English Teacher at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of English literature and language, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and assessments.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
• Relevant qualifications in education, such as a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Experience working in an international school setting is an advantage.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate and work in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
• Develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them improve.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about students’ progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school activities and events.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.
