Qualifications

• Natural born Filipino Citizen
• 18-49 years of age (or it depends to employer’s requirements.)
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Linesworker or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or utility industry.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems, equipment, and components, including copper and fiber optic cables, splice closures, and distribution panels.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment for line installation and repair.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to work sites as required.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications cables, wires, and equipment, including aerial and underground lines, fiber optic cables, and associated hardware.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on telecommunications infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network faults, outages, and service interruptions, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, and contractors to plan and schedule line installation and maintenance activities.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment, such as bucket trucks, cable splicers, and line testers, safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies while working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Document work activities, materials used, and equipment status accurately and maintain records of maintenance and repair tasks.
