Isa na Namang Illegal Recruiter, Convicted!

Simple illegal recruitment ang hinatol ng Regional Trial Court Branch 73 Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu laban kay ALMA AMBRAD Y OGA, taga-Talisay City, Cebu.

Ang akusado ang itinuturong responsable sa reklamong illegal recruitment ng 10 indibidwal, kung saan pinagbayad ang mga biktima ng mula Php30,000 hanggang Php80,000 kalakip ang pangakong maaring makakuha ng trabaho sa Dubai gamit lamang ang Tourist Visa. Si Ambrad ay napag-alamang hindi lisensiyado ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

Sa desisyon ng korte, ang akusado ay nagkasala sa mas mababang krimeng Simple Illegal Recruitment o paglabag sa Section 6 ng R.A. 8042, o kilala bilang “Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995, na inamyendahan ng Section 5 ng R.A. 10022. Si Ambrad ay hinatulan ng pagkakakulong na hindi bababa sa anim na buwan hanggang anim na taon kasama ang multa na nagkakahalagang Php 500,000.00, dahil sa pag amin nito sa nabanggit na krimen.

Gayundin, inatasan si Ambrad na bayaran ang mga biktima ng Php 536,000.00, na may taunang interes na anim na porsiyento (6%) mula sa pinalidad ng hatol hanggang sa buong kabayaran nito.
