Travelodge Strathmore is hiring Housekeeping Room Attendant bound for Canada!

Travelodge Strathmore is seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our hospitality team in Strathmore, Canada. This position involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. This job is an approved order by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) for Filipino workers.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English language skills; additional language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all guest rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in an orderly manner.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist with laundry duties when necessary.
• Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms.
