We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Metal Fabricator / Machinist to join our team at Beverly Steel Fabrication. This position is approved by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and is specifically open to Filipino workers looking for an opportunity to work in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, machining, and assembling metal components to meet our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator / Machinist or similar role in the metalworking or construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong machining skills, including experience with lathes, milling machines, grinders, and presses.
• Welding skills, including experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, are an advantage.
• Ability to operate metalworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in metal fabrication or machining.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate and machine metal components.
• Operate various metalworking machinery, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and presses, to shape and finish metal parts.
• Perform welding tasks as needed to assemble and repair metal structures using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
