Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive / Vehicle Painter or similar role in the automotive industry
• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and air compressors
• Knowledge of different types of automotive paints, finishes, and their applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Excellent color matching and mixing skills
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to automotive painting
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive painting are preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
• Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other coatings to match colors and specifications
• Use spray guns, brushes, and other tools to apply paint and achieve a smooth, even finish
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or additional coatings as needed
• Maintain and clean equipment, including spray guns and ventilation systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and others in the workplace
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
