We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Baker to join our team at Ozlanka Nominees Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods according to our recipes and standards, contributing to the overall success of our bakery operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or similar setting
• Proficiency in baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking
• Knowledge of different types of flour, yeast, and other baking ingredients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a diverse range of bread, pastries, and other baked goods in accordance with established recipes and procedures
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results and consistent quality
• Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, coordinating orders as needed to avoid shortages
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery area, including equipment maintenance and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of baked goods
• Assist in developing new recipes and product offerings, staying updated on industry trends and customer preferences
• Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards for all baked items
• Follow food safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
