We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Care Workers to join our team at Catherine Lodge Residential Home Limited. This position is approved by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and is specifically open to Filipino workers who are looking to work in the United Kingdom. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Care Worker or similar role in a care home or healthcare setting.
• Genuine compassion and desire to help others, particularly the elderly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition, capable of handling the demands of the job.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in caregiving or healthcare are preferred.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care environment.
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate and work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
• Follow care plans and ensure compliance with care home policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
