Turkish Hospital is seeking skilled and reliable General Technicians to join our team in Qatar. As a General Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of various medical and non-medical equipment within the hospital. This position is an approved job order by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) for Filipino workers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technician, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment and hospital facilities.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with medical devices and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure equipment is ready and available for use.
• Follow safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
• Provide training to hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• Filipino nationality
• Valid passport with no less than 12 months validity
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar
• Ability to travel internationally
