We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator / Boilermaker to join our team at Hanlon Industries Pty Ltd. This position is approved by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and is specifically open to Filipino workers who are looking to work in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components to meet our high standards of precision and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator / Boilermaker or similar role in the metalworking or construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong welding skills, including experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Ability to operate metalworking tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in metal fabrication or boilermaking.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
• Utilize various metalworking tools and machinery, including welders, cutters, grinders, and presses, to cut, shape, and join metal parts.
• Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding to assemble and repair metal structures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning.
