Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen environment
• Proficiency in pastry techniques, including mixing, baking, and decorating
• Knowledge of pastry ingredients, flavors, and textures
• Creativity and artistic flair in pastry design and presentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality products
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and specifications
• Decorate and finish pastries with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
