Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Limited in partnership with 1st Dynamic Personnel Resources Inc. is hiring Paver Driver’s bound for New Zealand!

The Paver Driver is responsible for operating paving equipment to lay asphalt or concrete on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. This role involves driving and maneuvering paving machines, coordinating with the paving crew, and ensuring the accurate and efficient placement of paving materials according to project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Natural born Filipino Citizen
• 18-49 years of age (or it depends to employer’s requirements.)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous experience operating paving equipment or similar heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and equipment operation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications for operating paving equipment or heavy machinery (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
• Stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and operating controls.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Operation:
   • Operate paving equipment, including asphalt pavers, rollers, and related machinery, to lay and compact paving materials effectively.
   • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper paving thickness, smoothness, and adherence to project specifications.
2. Material Handling:
   • Load paving materials into the paver hopper using appropriate equipment and techniques.
   • Coordinate with the paving crew to ensure a steady supply of materials and maintain efficient workflow.
3. Quality Control:
   • Inspect finished surfaces for defects, unevenness, or other issues and make adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired finish.
   • Monitor the paving process to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe operation of equipment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
   • Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
5. Communication and Coordination:
   • Communicate effectively with the construction manager, paving crew, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, share information, and ensure timely completion of projects.
   • Provide feedback and updates on project progress, challenges encountered, and recommendations for improvements.
